Papers that document the education and religious training of George F. Smith, SJ, primarily in the years surrounding his ordination in 1927. Consists of diaries with letters, photographs, clippings, and ephemera, as well as two passports.

This collection documents Boston-area Irish music in the 1950s and 1960s through unpublished recordings of social gatherings made by James W. Smith. These recordings capture reels, jigs, waltzes, hornpipes, and set dances with instrumentation from solos to groups including fiddle, flute, whistle, and accordion.

Russian-language posters published in Moscow, Russia. The posters show images celebrating the achievements of the Soviet Union, including young Soviet workers, military and scientific innovation, and political leaders. Two of the posters are in Armenian, with publication notes in Russian.

Collection of manuscript legal documents, in Spanish, some of which pertain to Juan Antonio Gonzales, of Onda, Spain, born in 1736. The latest documents are dated 1842, in Bogotá, Colombia. Written in ink, mainly on paper imprinted with the tax duty on legal papers and the seal of the reigning monarch.

Liturgical manuscript containing three-part antiphons and vespers including settings for the In circumcisione Domini, In Festo S. Agnesio Verginis, In Conversione S. Pauli Apostoli, In Ascensione Domini, Commemoration Solemnis B.V.M. de Monte Carlo, and Assumptio Beate Mariae Virginis. These were used in the Carmelite Convent of Santa Maria degl'Angeli in Florence.

The St. Elizabeth’s Hospital School of Nursing collection documents the student life, academic structure, and major administrative initiatives of the school across its history, with a particular focus on the years between 1980-2000. It comprises institutional and alumni association records, artifacts, ephemera, photographs and videos, printed materials, student records, and textiles.

These papers cover the personal life and scholarly work of Edward S. Stanton, SJ (1916-1983), a faculty member in Boston College’s Theology Department. Much of the collection deals with Stanton’s relationship and scholarship relating to John La Farge, SJ (1880-1963), who was an advocate for interracial justice. Materials include Stanton's manuscripts, photographs, publications, retreat notes, speeches, and sermons, as well as some of La Farge’s writings.

A scrapbook assembled by New England philanthropist Agnes C. Storer, containing cards, correspondence, a drawing, photographs, and newspaper clippings, most concerning Jesuit priests and institutions. Much of the correspondence has been clipped and just the autograph retained.

The Rex Stout papers concern the family life, writings, and political activism of detective novelist Rex Stout, author of the Nero Wolfe series. The collection consists of artwork, booklets, carbon copies, certificates, contact prints, comic strips, correspondence, dust jackets, galley proofs, floorplans, ledgers, manuscripts, negatives, posters, radio scripts, transcripts, and typescripts.

Contains a scrapbook of newspaper clippings documenting the 1940 Boston College football team with particular emphasis placed on the team's invitation to and participation in the 1941 Sugar Bowl. The collection also includes several of Nason's Sugar Bowl game charts, loose clippings and brochures. Most of the loose clippings relate to the 1942 football team. Many of the articles were written by Nason.

This collection contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, ephemera, photographs, and artifacts owned by or relating to John Lawrence Sullivan (1858-1918), the first American heavyweight champion boxer.

Consists of handwritten drafts of resolves and other items written by Sumner while serving in the United States Senate. Several items are written on scraps of paper and envelopes.

Quemadmodum testudines et cochleae suas domunculas..." and concludes on page 113 "In itineribus memor sis frugalitatis, et modestiae ac pietatis."

The collection contains materials about Seumas O'Kelly, an Irish journalist and writer, collected by his nephew Alphonsus Sweeney. It includes Sweeney's correspondence regarding O'Kelly's life, as well as works by O'Kelly such as short stories and radio plays. It also has lectures and articles about O'Kelly.
